Kids Ministry

Our Kids Ministry seeks to make more and better disciples among our kids by partnering with parents and families to raise a generation of kids who come to know and love Jesus.

Our Mission

Evangelizing

Our priority is preaching and teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ to our kids, praying that they repent of their sins and believe in Christ alone for salvation.
Equipping

We teach God’s Word to our kids because it is the primary way that they grow up in Christ toward spiritual maturity and usefulness in God’s kingdom. Our teaching is designed to walk our kids completely through both the Old and New Testament over the course of three years.
Encouraging

We recognize that parents are the primary teachers and disciples of their children. Our goal is to support and help them as they faithfully parent and shepherd their kids.

Nursery is offered for infants through two year olds. The goal of our nursery is to provide a safe environment for our youngest children while their parents worship and to impart a big view of God to the children through foundational bible stories that teach simple truth statements about who God is and what he has done.
Nursery classes vary based on the age group, but all classes include age-appropriate play times, snack times, and prayer. The older classes in the nursery also offer age-appropriate lessons.
Sunday School is offered for three year olds through fifth graders on Sunday mornings. The goal of Sunday School is to support parents by providing children age-appropriate Bible lessons that help them see the story of the Bible and God’s greatness. Sunday School classes vary based on the age group, but all classes center around Bible lessons. Younger classes also include age-appropriate play times, snack times, singing, and crafts and coloring.
Warriors is our midweek program for children in Pre-K through fifth grade that meets on Tuesdays from September to the end of March. The goal of Warriors is to help teach children biblical truth and to encourage them to memorize God’s word.
Warriors starts and ends each evening with whole-group singing. In between there is teaching, games, and grade-level small group time. Children are divided into age based groups.
Every summer, Vacation Bible School at Cornerstone is a high-energy, Christ-centered week where over 400 kids come together to learn, worship, and grow in their love for Jesus. VBS is one of our biggest outreach events of the year—and it wouldn’t be possible without the support of our incredible volunteers!
